Terms of Contract – VIGO LOCKERS

1. Purpose

The following general terms apply to the rental of VIGO LOCKERS lockers.
They govern the relationship between VIGO LOCKERS and the user renting the service.

2. Lockers

Available types:

  • Extra-large (XL): 85 cm (height) x 41 cm (width) x 58 cm (depth).
    Approximate capacity:

    • 1 extra-large suitcase or

    • 1 large suitcase + 1 backpack or

    • 3 carry-on suitcases + 1 backpack.

Usage rules:

  • Only store items that fit within the locker dimensions to avoid damage or malfunction.

  • Minimum rental: 1 day (24 hours).

  • Maximum rental: 30 calendar days.

  • Unlimited access during the rental period, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3. Price

  • Prices are displayed on the website on the date of the order.

  • VAT included; corresponds to the rental per day.

  • Prices may change according to market conditions.

4. Operation

Requirements for renting:

  • Must be 16 years or older.

  • Correctly complete all fields in the reservation form:

    • Full name

    • Phone number

    • Email address

    • Reservation date

    • Number of rental days

    • Number of lockers

    • Payment details

  • Accept the general terms of service and privacy policy.

Reservation process:

  1. Make a reservation at vigolockers.com, providing personal details, number of lockers, and rental period.

  2. Pay securely via PayPal or credit card.

  3. Receive a confirmation email with:

    • Number of lockers reserved

    • Access code to the premises

    • Locker opening code

  4. Modify or cancel the reservation up to 24 hours before the start of the service.

  • All information provided must be accurate and complete.

  • Data is only used to manage the locker reservation.

7. User Obligations

  • Use lockers properly and maintain the premises in good condition.

  • Only store legal items; prohibited items include:

    • Illegal objects (stolen goods, drugs, flammable items, etc.)

    • Animals or living beings

    • Unsealed food or drinks

    • Money, jewelry, technology, or high-value items (user assumes responsibility)

  • Remove belongings before the end of the rental period.

  • Report any incidents to info@vigolockers.com.

  • Do not share locker codes with third parties.

  • Access the premises only to use lockers, staying only as long as necessary.

  • Do not photograph or record security mechanisms.

8. User Responsibility

8.1 Non-compliance with rental period

  • If lockers are not vacated after the rental period:

    • After 7 days without contact, items are considered abandoned and VIGO LOCKERS may dispose of them.

    • Penalty: €100 + daily rental cost.

    • If items are returned after contact, the €100 penalty still applies.

8.2 Improper use of lockers

  • Unauthorized items may be removed, and police may be notified.

  • Penalty for prohibited items: €150.

  • If items exceed locker size and the door is blocked, contact us to resolve (cost €5–€50 depending on the incident).

8.3 Damages to lockers

  • Users are responsible for damages caused by improper use.

  • Penalties and costs:

    • Module replacement: €1,500

    • Individual locker door replacement: €700

    • Daily penalty for unusable locker: daily rental price

8.4 Payment of penalties

  • Collected using the payment method used for the reservation or via bank transfer.

9. VIGO LOCKERS Obligations

  • Maintain lockers in good condition during the rental period.

  • Resolve any incidents as quickly as possible.

10. VIGO LOCKERS Liability Limit

  • VIGO LOCKERS is not responsible for the custody of user belongings.

  • Users must report theft to the authorities.

  • Insurance covers losses due to theft excluding:

    • Money, jewelry, metals, watches

    • Technology (computers, tablets, phones, screens)

    • Art, antiques

    • Memory cards or any device containing data/images
